We always think that it won't happen to us, that it will be someone else's family. We take things for granted. We live our life each day, always planning ahead, what we'll do that night, the next day, the next week, five years from now, while all the time, God has a plan for our lives and He is in control, not us.
God's plan for my brother-n-law was to live only 45 years here on this earth. Steve went home to heaven last month. It was unexpected and very sad. I'm heartbroken for my sister and their boys, but Steve was a believer, a christian, and we take comfort in knowing that.
We may not always understand what God allows in our life, but if we have faith that He is in control and is right by our side, we can get through anything.
