Sad but nice
Yesterday, we attended visitation and funeral for the music director of our old church. It's the church where Roland grew up and where we went as a family for many years. It was a sad occasion, but at the same time, it was good to see some friends that we hadn't seen in a while. "Bro. Eddy" was a godly man and a fantastic music director. The Merton Choir was wonderful, and I will always treasure the memories of listening to them sing. Marilyn Taylor's rendition of "Resurrection Morn" and Buzz Maharrey's "Love Grew Where the Blood Fell"...wow! I love that Merton Choir!
