The end times discussion

We had a fascinating lesson this morning in our connection class. It was all about how Jewish marriage customs relate to or tie in with the book of Revelation and the end times. Our teacher sourced an article from somewhere online, talking about the connection between the groom (Christ), the bride (us...the church), the one year separation between the groom and bride, each one using that time to prepare for living together (Christ "I will go and prepare a place for you..." and the church living our lives, serving, storing up treasures in heaven), the 7 day wedding feast to which the bride was not invited (strange, huh?)...this is the period of tribulation, I think. I would love to do an in-depth study of this as I found it fascinating!
