Ginger: in loving memory

One of our outside cats, Ginger, went home to kitty heaven. She's at rainbow bridge now, with our other cats that have gone there. Ginger was a stray cat that we started feeding several years ago, and she decided to make us her "forever family". In cold weather, she made our garage her home, and we fixed up a place for her with blankets and food. Quite often, she would come into the house, make her way down the hall, go into our bedroom, and snuggle up on our bed. She would stay there for an hour or two (sometimes longer), and then she would go to the front or back door, waiting for us to notice that she wanted back out. She didn't really like to be picked up, but she did like us to pet her.

I'm going to miss her. She was my Ginger, with the pretty green eyes. I love you, Ginger.
